Installing 8 High Clearance Control Arms, 4 HCR Spec King 2.0 Shocks with compression adjusters, 4 RCV Extended axle bars, 2 Tie-Rod Extensions, and Brake line mounting hardware requires careful attention to detail and the right tools.
To install these components, begin by lifting the vehicle and removing the wheels. Remove the old control arms, shocks, and axle bars. Install the new high clearance control arms, making sure to torque the bolts to the manufacturer's specifications. Install the new shocks with compression adjusters, adjusting the compression to your desired settings.
Next, install the RCV extended axle bars, being sure to align the splines correctly. Install the tie-rod extensions to ensure proper steering alignment. Finally, install the brake line mounting hardware to keep your brake lines secure and protected.
Once all components have been installed, lower the vehicle and test the suspension to ensure proper function and alignment. It is recommended to have a professional mechanic or technician perform this installation if you do not have experience working on suspension systems.
